This is the first book of the new Shadow Alliance series which is super amazing super romantic and super super smexy.

The story is all about Allison and Declan is a bit of a control freak…. and then some as well as that having to control just that whilst he is working with Allison is even harder especially as she is an extremely capable beautiful woman. poor poor Declan.

One of the things I really loved was the way the author portrays Allison as an incredible very strong woman but she also has this vulnerability that makes you connect with her on a deeper level.

I also liked Declan at times he annoyed me with his ways but thankfully he is surrounded by some wonderful people who will call him out on this. As good friends do they understand up to a point but when he was being beyond they put a stop to it quickly but in a way that we the readers understand it so well.

oo and that cute relationship Declan has with Anna. I don’t know about other readers but to me there just is something special and swoon worthy about a big strong man who just to melt’s around this little girl The connection was just so special and made me have a little tear in my eyes.

As always the author has outdone herself every book she writes has that touch of magic which I fall for every single time.
