I was given this book in exchange for my honest opinion and a review

This is the first book I have ever read by Miranda Marks and it was nothing short of a delight to read every single last page of this book.

Over the years Nate Morrissey has seen all sorts of action with Marine Special Operations, yet nothing can compare to the adventure he has waiting at home for him in the form of his new wife. He has yet to be home much in their brief year marriage. But all is not well as it seems as when he gets a call out for a new mission at the very beginning of his long awaited leave, his wife lays down an ultimatum to him. But duty the is winner.

Becca has come to realise that she is just not meant to be a military wife. She has always thought herself too be strong, but all of these long hard months waiting and praying for his safe return home left her a shell of what she use too be. When yet again he leaves her all alone frightened, she knows enough is enough it’s time for her too just call it quits, no matter how much it shatters her heart.

Nate will not just let go like that if ever. The sheer passion that they share together is undeniable too ignore. He may have comes home to an empty bed, but he that he will not let it stay that way for long. To Nate till death do us part means something to him he is still alive and kicking not six feet under. And he plans to stay alive too get his wife back once and for all, he will do everything in his power.

A great and powerful read one which truly makes you truly feel how much a spouse can feel when there other half is away at war. I loved how much emotion poured through out the book it made you feel like you were there a part of what was going on it struck a cord deep down inside of me.

The characters were both strong determined and very likeable, I found it easy too connect with Becca as I think any reader would well female ones anyway.

This book has just the right amount love, romance suspense and angst overall a great read.
