I was given this book In exchange for my honest opinion and a review

To Mate ( Cascade Calender Bear Books) is the first book in a new and exciting series.

Tessa Rowan is a new author to me I always get super excited when I open up a book by a new author I guess its the unknown and the possibility of finding a new author too fall in love with well Tessa will do this too you.

In this book we meet Kris and Winnie two unlikely people who the fates have decided will be perfect together forever.

Winnie is in a new town to discover whether there is anyone that is looking for a photographer. She goes about taking the very kind of pictures she has been wanting to in the beautiful mountains. Whilst she is enjoying some down time at the local coffee shop she spies upon the most handsome sexiest man ever and he walks right on in and passed her she just can’t but help but listen in on his conversation with his fellow coffee companions. The more that she hears his conversation is the more that she cant help but realize that she is the perfect person to help them all out and she just happens to be able to work with them straight away. What will happen when what she is feeling becomes so much more than she thinks she can handle.

While being in the coffee shop Kris sees this incredibly stunning woman he has high hopes that he can finish up with his little pow wow to talk to her before she ups leaves. Kris cant help but feel that there is something special something more about her that he just cannot seem too put his fingers on but her feels like he has seen or met her before….. Know as they spend more and more time together Kris finally figures it out…. she is the one his mate he is dumb founded but he knows it is true. Know the only questions is how does she feel? Does she feel what he does? Can he get her to open up and tell her.

This book is a great read I like the emotions and the angst surrounding them as well as of course the shear passion. I adore how Tessa shows us such a beautiful side to a family and what and how they are willing to fight for and do.

Kris is a great character he is a bit mixed up where it comes to love because of what happened to his mum but thank god his bear see’s things clearly …. he knows exactly what is going on even though Kris was a bit slow on the uptake… but when he gets it he really gets it. He is such a sweet passionate character.

Winnie is a tough cookie she has been through allot of ups and downs but she is finally doing something she loves taking pictures of other things than squirming children, she adores her new surroundings, she cannot stop herself volunteering to help Kris and his family with there project, its perfect. Winnie is such a likeable character very sweet and compassionate.

The only little thing I would have liked more of was the intimate scene too be drawn out more I like to feel the build up a tad more but non the less a great read.
