The Boss

I received this book in exchange for my honest opinion and a review.

This is the first book I have read with Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliot working together, in the past I have read many of Cari books so when the opportunity came up for me to review this book I jumped at it, and let me tell you I was not sorry at all both authors are amazing this book is so seamlessly written I would have no clue who did what because they work so well together in harmony you might say.

Grace is still very much in shock after the death of her beloved Grandmother. she had been everything too her she had raised her loved her nursed her when she had been ill and had always supported Grace no matter what, But most importantly she had helped her to be the woman she is today, Her Grandmother was the only family she had left now she has no one and is all alone.

And the painful devastating blows keep on coming one after another. Her Grandma had always been a very wealthy woman was in serious debt. Its that bad that the utilities have been shut of and lots of her things had been sold to cover some of the debt. But before Grace has the chance to do anything about this and try to solve the matter, it is taken out of her hands and her beloved house is sold to none other than…Blake Carson.

So Grace being Grace she decides she has too confront this man how dare he do this to her, anger riding high she goes to him and a teeny lie gets her in yes she has too say she is going for a job interview but if it means getting to confront him she will do anything.

But ironically Grace boldness lands her this job that she never really wanted in the first place…. or does she? Her first day shows her how efficient she will have to be now especially with all of Mr Carsons demands, but even that doesn’t stop her from being seriously attracted to her boss…. her enemy. She has but a short time to find herself somewhere to live and juggle her new job and these strange feelings.

But one night everything changes when they both stay too late at work they find themselves victims of Blake’s own security. Will they both survive the night together or will there wicked hot chemistry lead to something explosive?

What will happen next?

Omg im on tender hooks cliffhanger and half I normally stray far away from cliffhangers and serial books but I think I may well be a convert now. Both Authors have done such an amazing job with this book I simply cannot wait to get my hands on part two and im told it will be from Blake’s POV which is seriously intriguing me.

The characters in this book are brilliant right on point and everything we readers need and more, I adored the little twists and turns, and the intimate scenes omg sizzling!!! But I really have this sneaky suspicion that Blake knows exactly what is going on, in no way do I think she has managed to pull the wool over his eyes.

Grace is a feisty determined artist she has a heap load of heart and a ton of sass she knows just what she wants but does she truly know how to get it ?

Blake he is a hot dominant alpha male with tons of attitude and of course a rich guy persona he is one of those characters you cant help but fall in love with even though he is a bit of an arse, I suspect there is more to him than meets the eye.

If you are looking for a great read then stop, and read this book it is unlike anything you have read before it will having you at the edge of your seat.

About cariadbooksblog

Hi Everyone! My name is Heidi and I hail from the beautiful city of Cardiff. When I’m not lost in a book you can find me crafting. I love to make and create unique and awesome author swag as well as custom designs, Jewellery and just about anything else that I can teach myself. I’m also a total film junkie, too. I love romances (obviously!), comedies and Disney films. My true passion in life, though? Reading. I love the way you can pick a book up and get immersed in it. While I read romance of all types, I especially enjoy menage and paranormal and all the naughty taboo books. I’m planning to blog most days of the week. It might be a cover reveal for an upcoming release I’m excited about or teasers. You’re most likely to find a review. Authors, if you’d like me to review your book, be sure to contact me!
