I received this book in exchange for my honest opinion and a review
When you’re short on time, but are experiencing reading withdrawals, this cute and fun story will soothe your symptoms nicely.
Claire and her girlfriends aren’t the average twenty-somethings *read as they’re human challenged. LOL* having a girl’s night out and maybe looking for someone to spend some one on one time with. Yeah, you know what I mean. 😉 Cat shifter, vampire, and zombie…oh my. Wait, what? Zombie? Why yes, Claire is in fact a zombie and oh my gosh, how she got zombified is hilarious in my opinion.
I’ll give you a hint — no, bad dog. Haha. So Claire’s friend decides they need to attend an art showing. Of course, she’s got a little secret about the artist that she’s not sharing with Claire, but assures her they have something in common.
Claire is an erotica author and she’s been dealing with a critic, Drew, that has slammed her work, when in all actuality the critic wouldn’t know good erotica even if it slapped him on the a#&. The artist, Max, that they’re going to see is essentially an erotic photographer. I know, I know, you think you’ve figured it out…that’s what they have in common…their genres. And yes, that is the case, but there’s one important detail that they share. *cough, cough. Same diet.*
So now Max and Claire are bonding over similar tastes, *snicker* that works on numerous levels, their mutual attraction, and their deep dislike of the critic, Drew, who shows at the gallery, causes a scene, and labels Max’s work as pornography. (Psst…maybe he’s just jealous. LOL)
Read Lipstick now to find out how lipstick plays a role in the story, more about Claire’s “life” changing encounter, and see if she and Max can find their HEA.
What a Fun Book.
