I was given a copy of this book in exchange for my honest opinion and a review.
This is the third book in the Fate Harbor series and this one for sure will pull at your heart strings as it did mine I found that Kara was the deepest most emotional book yet. This goes to show you what an awe inspiring author Caitlyn O’Leary is.
Five years had passed since Kara Johansen had met and fallen head over heels in love with the Shotbrook brothers Ben and Quinn whilst she was on vacation with her brothers in Sitka, Alaska.
They had all fallen in love do quick and so hard. So they had planned to marry, but then tragedy struck them and the Shotbrook family, leaving Ben and Quinn to care for their family once again. The brothers thought that the best thing for Kara was to be sent back home to Fate Harbor, Washington, with the promise that one day soon they would all be together forever.
Kara has waited for years now and she has made a big decision she cannot wait any longer. She wants to get married and have a family of her very own. She has stored away her dreams of her ever being with Ben and Quinn and now she is focusing on the very men that are available and willing to be with her here and now.
But her loving meddling brothers have other ideas and they tell Ben and Quinn all of her plans. Ben and Quinn are shocked and they rush straight to Fate Harbor to do whatever it will take them to win back the woman they love.
But has everything changed too much between them in order to save their love?
The Fate Harbor series is one of my all time favourites. with each and every book that comes out with this series I get pulled more and more in to this amazing town and all its characters.
But now with this one I found it completely different but in such a way that I fell for this story even more as its so different.
This story is packed full of feelings and sentiment, it also shows you that love cant always be enough for a relationship to work especially a triad one. Its such a refreshing change to see the men fighting for there love and realising the mistakes they have made.
Kara is a tough cookie after what pain she has been through she has had to toughen up even though deep down she is still the talented and gifted artist with a kind heart she cannot let Ben and Quinn see this. I felt so much for kara you can feel the tension the pain and heartache surrounding her and yet she has this strength that you have to admire.
Ben he is a sweet guy kind protective very loyal to his family and those he loves but he has some major flaws in the fact he doesn’t stand up for himself and just follows Quinns every word. I loved Ben but at times I wanted to scream at him.
Quinn he is the strong one the head of the family, he is loyal to a fault and equally protective but he has these blinkers on and he just cant seem to see clearly what’s in front of him…. Kara. yes I understand how family comes first but I found that his motives were not always the best and he seemed to always want to be the one making all the decisions when in reality he needs to take a step back and listen. Just as much as I loved Ben I Loved Quinn but I wanted to knock there heads together.
This book overall was amazing and I couldn’t put it down, Miss O’Leary spins such a fine sexy tail for us and she does it in such a way that’s nothing less than perfect.
I so love how we get a just a touch of the next book and how Caitlyn so delicately touches on it just ignites such a fire in me to read the next instalment Isabella’s Submission.
