I was kindly gifted this book in exchange for my honest opinion and a review.

I have been eagerly waiting the arrival of this book on my kindle as i just new I would fall in love all over again, Ashley has such a great style of writing that draws you in and leaves you wanting more and more.

Caleb Mabry is the Alpha of this mixed pride of shifters in Pine Falls. He is a mountain lion shifter and has always used his sheer brute strength to win his battles.

But when he and his brothers, Prescott and Lachlan, find their chosen mate after all the years of waiting wanting they just cant believe it there mate,Meg O’Brien, refuses point blank to even talk to them. There anger soon turns to angst and fury when she rejects them all.

Meg just can’t accept her mates at the moment especially while a stalker is threatening to kill her and anyone that dares to touch her.

So she does the only thing that makes sense …. she runs as fast as she can away from them but its only so she can save them, but that doesn’t work because her stalker finds her and very nearly kills her and her sister, Lexie.

Luckily her mates rescue them both and discover that her stalker is a creature not many has heard of,with heavenly origins and a soul that is pure evil.

Now To free Meg from this danger that follows her right back to the heart of Pine Falls. The pride ends up relying on a new but dangerous friend Brody, he brings them so much and more than they could ever think. Caleb must now use his cunning skills, and not his strength, to finally once and for all truly save his mate.

After all the time I waited pining for this book when I got it in my hands I was over joyed I sat right down to get stuck in and every page got better and better I was a goner I loved the story line the characters the emotional sides of this story the angst the fighting it wall all on point, this just goes to show what an incredible author Ashley Malkin is, I am such a huge fan of hers.

The characters Caleb, Prescott and Lachlan o my o my what a fine set of males and each so different than the other but with the same true loving values, it made my heart melt how they were with Meg yes I no she does some silly things but in her head she was only doing it to save them from harm, when really that’s all her mates want to do is keep her safe from harm. I found it so endearing how they all wanted to do the same thing for each other without realising.

My favourite people in the book well that’s hard as I loved all of Meg’s mates but I lean towards loving Caleb that tiny bit more 🙂 but who truly stole my heart was Brody omg how precious I so wanted to dive through the book give him a massive hug he has gone through so much and survived, he is truly an outstanding character with such a massive heart. Im not going to say anything more as I don’t do spoilers but Ashley thank you for giving us this amazing book and Brody his happiness and some true friends.

I am now eagerly awaiting the next book in this series ……. please I need it ❤
