Melanie

I was kindly gifted this book in exchange for my honest opinion and a review.

Ashley Malkin is a new author to me but once i saw the blurb to this book i just new it was the book for me, and it surely was. Ashley takes us on such an enticing journey, once you start reading this book you will not put it down.

After Melanie Cook suffered a a childhood tragedy she had shut out everyone from her life, she chooses to be alone over getting hurt again.

That is until one evening when she is on duty, Melanie is attacked viscously by a mountain lion shifter and thrust into a world she would never have dreamt existed.

She is immediately put into protective custody by four tall ruggedly handsome men, these men she just can’t seem to stop yearning for physically and emotionally. Melanie is feeling all these things she never imagined she ever would.

Finn, Cooper, Hunter and Dane Frederick have lived a long time, and waiting to find their mate has been hard. But they find her by pure accident and on a night of blood and death.

They are determined to keep there mate safe and sound as well as to make her theirs, they take her in to there home, but they have to now explain the very existence of shifters to their human mate, having Melanie accept them for who they are, is not going to be an easy task especially with the continued threat on her very life.

OMG i love love this book i grew so jealous and envious of Melanie through out this book she is such a lucky lady having not one but four men to love and protect her.

Each of Melanie’s men have such different characteristics which are very easy to follow and fall in love with. And the sex wowza be prepared to melt right in to a puddle.

(my view on Melanie)

Melanie she is a lonely lady with no one at all to care for that is until she gets attacked and acquires four handsome as sin men. i was so glad that they came in to her life quickly and wouldn’t take no for an answer of anyone they new she was there’s and that’s all that mattered.

one of my favourite parts of the book was at the beginning when the men find out how short Melanie is 🙂 and how she tells them she is four foot eleven and a half, and yes half does count. I had a wicked grin on my face as that’s exactly how i say it myself in real life.

Ashley’s writing style is all kinds of awesome. she writes with a style and depth that all of her readers should for sure fall in love with just like i myself have.
I Love Ashley and could not get enough of this book at all and im already engrossed in the second book 🙂

About cariadbooksblog

Hi Everyone! My name is Heidi and I hail from the beautiful city of Cardiff. When I’m not lost in a book you can find me crafting. I love to make and create unique and awesome author swag as well as custom designs, Jewellery and just about anything else that I can teach myself. I’m also a total film junkie, too. I love romances (obviously!), comedies and Disney films. My true passion in life, though? Reading. I love the way you can pick a book up and get immersed in it. While I read romance of all types, I especially enjoy menage and paranormal and all the naughty taboo books. I’m planning to blog most days of the week. It might be a cover reveal for an upcoming release I’m excited about or teasers. You’re most likely to find a review. Authors, if you’d like me to review your book, be sure to contact me!
