I was kindly gifted an ARC of this fantastic book.

This is Rosemary Clyde Debut novel and what a novel it is, i do love a sexy vampire romance and this book ticks all the right boxes for me as it should you.

Something deep and instinctual pulls Laken Reid to Corry. After all he has been watching her from a distance for months now, now Laken is finding it ever so hard to keep away. His heart is aching from being separated from his soul mate and it has become almost unbearable.

But everything changes when the enemy of his family learns of Corry, Laken is in fear for her life he knows he cannot lose her ever. he also knows he needs to keep her safe from his very own world? Or will they both end up in the hands of his enemy?

Corry Bowen has so earned the freedom she has craved for many years from her abusive scum bag husband, even though she has blank spots in her memory from that fearsome night. Now this sexy male has entered her life, she believes that she may have finally found her one …. her dream man.

But then her life quickly does a u turn once more into a nightmare or so it seems. Yet in a few days she learns something that not only are vampires real, but her new man is one. Add that in to the mix of things, his enemy is determined to kill Corry and not just only that but to punish Laken and his family forever, now Corry is starting to wonder if she can really handle all this and a new world on top of that. Now Corry has to decide Can she walk away from Laken the one who is her heart and soul and one she can come home to? Or will she choose the ultimate sacrifice ……. herself to keep the one she loves safe?

I read this book in one night not only can Rosemary write amazingly well but she can bring out so much emotions for us readers, when i read the beginning i was on the edge of my seat literally i was urging Corry on to run as fast as she can and hide from her husband. argh i wanted to strangle him for what he did to Corry i had tears falling down my face, Thank god she is a survivor and a damn great Heroine,

I just have to mention my favourite bit in the book.

” I had better control when i hadn’t actually touched you yet,”
he said with a sardonic laugh. ” I thought if i finally tasted
those lips id be able to let you go and just protect you from
a distance. But now i just want more.”

To me the above shouted no screamed to me how much laken ached for Corry how much he wanted and desired her…. o my he is so dreamy. o and i have to mention Marcus he has wit and sarcasm as well as the scary factor in droves…… Loved him, he so needs his own story.

Everyone needs to watch out for Rosemary she is going to shoot to the top with her fantastic book and i just no there more of this to come.
