I received this book in exchange for my honest opinion and a review. Vella Day is just amazing she has blown me out of the water again.

This is the second book in the series although you can read it as a standalone id suggest you read book one first too get the full amazing effect of the story lines. I loved Kalan and Elana in the first book so it made my day that they get there own story.

Kalan is the beta and a great one too boot he looks after all of the shifters in Silver Lake, And he is a bear shifter as well as being a deputy and a part time detective in the criminal division of the sheriff’s department he is one bust Bear and then some.

Elana is a stunningly beautiful curvy woman. Who I admire so much. She has these unloving parents who have done nothing but make her life harder, but looking back now she has done so much good with her life and she has done it by herself. She is a business owner of a lovely floral shop. She also has this major crush on Kalan it seems she has been crushing on him for so long, and when he gives her even a little attention it makes her heart skip a beat or three or four but hey who is counting.

But know there is trouble a double murder in there own town. And Kalan has too find out who or what is the culprit. He knows in his heart that he has to do everything in his power to keep Elana safe and sound. He is also becoming too no that Elana is his mate. But he has too take this slow and very careful so he doesn’t scare her off.

Some of the things I loved about this book well I loved Kalan he has such amazing heart and I just adored how he is around Elana and hoe clumsy he is. I also love how she meets Kalans bear. You will have such a laugh at this its brilliant.

This book is brilliant its equal parts hot steamy and passionate as well as mysterious and very loving and romantic and element of healing. I also have mention the other amazing characters in the book like Jackson and Brian I for one cannot wait too read more from this spell binding series that the amazing Vella Day has created.
