Sarah Marsh is the Queen of Sci Fi Romance every book she brings out is more outstanding than the last I do not no how she does it but Miss Marsh is seriously talented so much so that the very opening lines too this book had me Hooked.

Sally Owens is content to spend her life away hiding in well plain sight, that is….. well as long as no one got too close too her or tries to wrestle the reigns away.

When she decides too let her hair down which takes all her courage, she ends up getting kidnapped and shipped out into outer space which was so NOT what she had in mind. If at all. But Sally is a survivor and she soon comes up with a great plan to thrive and adapt in this new world that has been thrust upon her.

Arkenon Quinn has been informed that one of the human refugees that were rescued wants to join the Courtesan Guild and well he is curious to say the least. However, when he meets the plucky firebrand who makes him wonder what beautiful Sally is all about, so what is a guy too do but mentor her even if it is against his better judgement. What he couldn’t have or wouldn’t have anticipated is how quickly this fascinating human would steal his very heart, Now he is pushed with a new dilemma something he’s never had to do ever…… chase a woman.

But will Sally’s painful past stop her from finding her forever with this amazing hulk of a man who is like no other that she has ever met or wanted to?

Will she gather all of her strength and place her mind body and soul in Arkenon’s hands?

Can love this pure and beautiful survive?

So this is book four of Coalition Mates and by far my favourite, well until the next book captures my heart 🙂 as I said above from the first line of the book I was a goner see Miss Marsh has this poem that captured my full being and my heart, I have this poem pinned too my bedroom wall that’s how much is resonated with me.

” Surrender me with words.
Inspire me with passion.
Blind me with longing.
Break me with need.

Bind me with Love.”

Seriously this is a mighty start too an amazing book.

As the characters go Sally and Arkenon are one of the best too date I love the fiery interplay between them I adore the yin and yang the flow of how they come together.

Sally is independent yet quiet she is not the one too go out yet she comes out of her bubble for the night and well it doesn’t go too plan and then some, so she is kidnapped and then rescued and on a different planet with different races…. yes it is mind boggling but rather amazing she takes it all in her stride and is rather confident about it all. she has so many qualities that I love about her and want everyone else too love as well.

Arkenon is a man and a half he has charisma and the looks too boot and the charm wowza just one look is enough too make you swoon and your panties drop too the ground. But as much as he has all this he has a complexity about him that no one but Sally can get see she crawls in too his heart little by little he never expected a tiny human too make him have so much feelings and emotions, he well is just not use too this after all look at who he is and the job he has, women come to him right??

My favourite part was the ending and yes some may seem it is weird but its where we meet these amazing three characters we see a glimpse of what there capable of and hints of the longing and the needs that they need too complete themselves, they have to have there own story ” hears me begging the author”
