I adore Vella Day she is an amazing writer, so when I heard she had a new series coming out I waited with baited breath till it appeared on my kindle, This story is magical and a must read.

This is the first book in Miss Day’s new series The Witches and Weres of Silver Lake Series.

The story begins with Isadora Berta she is practising her magical powers in Scotland. But what she doesn’t know is that someone is watching her and this someone is a wolf who is hoping beyond all hope to claim her as his very own. Even though she had felt something or someone watching her, she shrugs it of and forgets all about it especially as she is called home unexpectedly.

When she meets the stunningly handsome Ryerson McKinnon who is a wolf, and on the verge of become the Alpha, her whole world as she knows it changes.

The story and plot moves along at a great pace, and as always the writing style is first class and easy to read.

The characters are outstanding and o so strong and so not what you would expect or predict. There is a heap load of passion which of course I love.

What I love about Miss Day is she doesn’t let the intimate scenes overpower or consume her wonderful story. She has a way of enhancing the story as well as the love between her characters. As well as that it has the suspense that will keep you turning the pages.

I absolutely love this book, and I cannot wait for the next book in this wonderful new series.
