I received an ARC of this fantastic book in exchange for my honest opinion and a review.
Iv read allot of Suzette books I no what an incredible writer she is so when the chance to read This book came up I jumped at it, I was so not disappointed at all to be frank I thought it was amazing.
Avery Montgomery is a successfully author and knows certain things that no human should ever no especially about the paranormal. This a loan earns her the very attention of the Midnight Pack, and she gets a visit from one of them, The handsome Chase Randall.
She is immediately attracted to this handsome guest but she thinks that Chase is an annoying reporter or maybe even one of her crazy fans. he try’s and try’s get her to engage with him but she resist all attempts, she attempts to try and stay away from him.
When Chase gets his orders to spy on Avery for his alpha, he gets the biggest surprise of his entire life. This woman is his fated mate. His whole nature drives him to claim her, but she wants nothing at all to do with him. yes his task was to try and get the information his pack needs, he accidentally confirms her suspicions, and she breaks out the big guns to try run and him off.
How can he ever claim his fated when she won’t even let him take her out on a date?
Can he ever reveal his true nature to her without endangering himself and his pack?
Will he ever gain her trust?
will he be able to win his fated mates love?
This book had me hooked from the beginning Avery intrigued me, and her dreams gave us the real suspense element and mystery with what truly happened to her as a child.
Chase he is the true yum element to the book he gets forced to spy on Avery and finds his fated, he has allot to learn and even more to gain her love and trust.
Both characters were true magic, they had a depth to them that you the reader can easily fall in love with which goes to show you what an incredible author Suzette is.
We are left with a bit of a cliffhanger at the end of the book, without giving anything away its a corker :)which leave us wanting more, now i am waiting patiently …… well sort of for the next book to this new series, i only wish i could rate this book higher than a five.
