Let It Ride is the third book in Thompson & Sons series.
Iv read a number of Vivian Arend’s books and i have always thoroughly enjoyed them, Vivian has such a great writing style i cant imagine anyone not loving her books like i do.
In this book we meet Maggie and Clay both of there worlds are all turned around after one fatal day.
Maggie Ward’s whole world has been torn right apart by an unexpected tragedy, the only thing that makes her Get through her days is her good friend Clay Thompson his unwavering presence helps Maggie so much.
Clay has it all He is protective, caring, sexy and everything she could ask for and more in a friend. But Maggie is finding herself longing for much more than just his friendship, she knows it will take a bit of seduction to convince this stubborn mechanic that she is ready to start living again.
But what Maggie doesn’t no is Clay has had his heart set on her for a while now she is his heart his soul ….. mate, but does he realise this?
Clay Thompson has been taking care of others as well as a business for years now he has this down to a pat, only Clay has never faced this sort of challenge before. Now the woman he has always desired and wanted is suddenly his to care for.
Now he knows it’s not just responsibility driving him, but something much much more …… Maggie, Clay has a desire unlike anything else to make Maggie his forever.
But does this new found love mean sacrificing his family he’s held all together for years….
This book took me on an emotional roller coaster through sad times as well as happy, I found that once i started reading i could not put this book down.
I total fell hook line and sinker for Clay he has so much depth and appeal to him he is everything and more you want in a life partner.
Overall a fantastic written book that offers allot to us readers and shows us that a second chance on love is not as far of as people think.
