Nothing Like A Cowboy

I was kindly gifted this book via netgalley in exchange for my honest opinion and a review.

This is the first book in not my 1st rodeo.

Donna Alward takes us on a romantic journey, though to some it may be a tad predictable but non the less i found it romantic as well as satisfying.

Brett Harrison tried marriage once and is not anxious at all for another round at wedded bliss….. So when his twin sister meddles in his life and sets him up with a dating profile on not my 1st rodeo, he seriously considers strangling her and cancelling the date she has set up for him. Luckily he is too much of a gentleman to act on those thoughts or impulses, and know has he meet Melly Walker, he wonders if it’s his time to get right on in to the saddle.

Melly just knows exactly where her previous marriage went so wrong. She was caught in by the dazzle of her ex’s city charm and strayed way too far from her home and roots. This time, her methods of dating have changed she is going with a tried and true method a cowboy. Her first dates net her more duds than hunks, but then she meets Brett, she’s more than ready to get much more than just her feet wet.

trust and compromise are great in theory, but when Melly discovers Brett has his eye on more than just her she soon questions her judgement and of course his motives.

Is Brett ready to drop his dreams for love?

This book is an easy and pleasant read and an easy pace to follow through out this book.

I enjoyed this book and Loved Brett meddling sister, i found the characters very loveable and familiar like you had known them for forever.

About cariadbooksblog

Hi Everyone! My name is Heidi and I hail from the beautiful city of Cardiff. When I’m not lost in a book you can find me crafting. I love to make and create unique and awesome author swag as well as custom designs, Jewellery and just about anything else that I can teach myself. I’m also a total film junkie, too. I love romances (obviously!), comedies and Disney films. My true passion in life, though? Reading. I love the way you can pick a book up and get immersed in it. While I read romance of all types, I especially enjoy menage and paranormal and all the naughty taboo books. I’m planning to blog most days of the week. It might be a cover reveal for an upcoming release I’m excited about or teasers. You’re most likely to find a review. Authors, if you’d like me to review your book, be sure to contact me!
