I was kindly gifted a copy of this book in exchange for my honest thoughts and a review.
This is the first book in the chasing the dream series, and what a series this is its full of everything you want in a romance book, i no this book made me feel all happy on the inside. Maddie Taylor is a Music major and she has just finished her junior year of college. Maddie has a summer Internship all lined up with the LA Philharmonic, But every night she practices long and hard on her guitar she has secretly dreamed of a louder avid life. Yet geeky girls like herself do not get to be rock stars, Or so she thinks, That is until tattooed and sexy singer Jared Cross catches her playing the guitar and he invites her to join his band on The Sound, a reality TV show competition. But once on the show, Maddie soon discovers there is so much more to Jared than his ever flirty smile and bad boy reputation, and Maddie soon finds out that Jared is just as big a geek at heart like she is. And with each and every performance their sizzling attraction becomes ever impossible to ignore, but with the show and the growing pressures on them both to stay single they are forced to keep their relationship secret. But how long will this last? As the competition heats up Jared will do everything for his band to win. And now Maddie has a big decision to make will she follow her dreams or risk her heart. Another fantastic book from Elizabeth Briggs she certainly knows how to draw her readers in to a fun pact romantic story. As well as having strong well written characters who we can all fall for. My favourite parts from the books where, We only had a few stolen minutes before we had To me this showed how much they felt for each other as well as there real need for each of there precious time together. 5 Out Of 5 Hearts From Cariad Books |
