i was gifted this book via netgalley in exchange for my honest thoughts and a review.

This is the second book in Amanda Scott Border Nights series but can be read as a standalone as well. and as i have come to expect of Amanda Scott its a brilliant book.

So in this book we meet Sir David Ormiston And Lady Robina Gledstanes and they take us on a journey you will not want to miss.

The last place on earth that Sir David “Devil” Ormiston expected his moonlight chase of a horse thief to end was in a ladies bedchamber. He is so shocked to find that the raider he has pursued is not a man, but an extremely defiant beauty in disguise, and this is a woman he’s vowed to protect whatever may happen.

Face to face with this girl that Dev thought he knew, he the ever and very confident, marriage resistant knight may learn that yet that he is defenceless against this desirable woman she has become.

Lady Robina Gledstanes has a secret and will do anything to keep her family’s land out of the hands of her greedy kinsmen, except willingly submit to the handsome and extremely cocksure Devil Ormiston. She knows that Dev’s help may be just as dangerous as the very threats lurking outside of her castle.

But when her enemies scheme to steal the castle’s own treasure, Robina must risk losing something more to her something more precious ……….

Her Heart.

This book is set in Scotland 1403 and has not just Romance but some paranormal elements as well as a mysterious edge.

The characters are well written and very much engaging, And little Benji he will for sure capture your heart.

As well as a Heroine who has a very much devil may care attitude to her, which sometimes is her downfall.

This book has it all i for one loved it.

About cariadbooksblog

Hi Everyone! My name is Heidi and I hail from the beautiful city of Cardiff. When I’m not lost in a book you can find me crafting. I love to make and create unique and awesome author swag as well as custom designs, Jewellery and just about anything else that I can teach myself. I’m also a total film junkie, too. I love romances (obviously!), comedies and Disney films. My true passion in life, though? Reading. I love the way you can pick a book up and get immersed in it. While I read romance of all types, I especially enjoy menage and paranormal and all the naughty taboo books. I’m planning to blog most days of the week. It might be a cover reveal for an upcoming release I’m excited about or teasers. You’re most likely to find a review. Authors, if you’d like me to review your book, be sure to contact me!
