O my how much do I love Whiskey Starr iv previously read and reviewed another of her books but this one to me just was on another scale altogether and somewhat on a softer side.

Things in Joey Hart’s life has him spiralling way out of control. He just knows it as well as everyone else. He is a loner who only cares about himself and his music. When the band “Chasing Tails” catches a well-earned break, he and all the other members of the band now have to fight on their hands to find the balance between work/stardom and everyday life. When a tragedy that affects them all in different kinds of way’s causes them all to really take notice of what ultimately matters in their lives and that’s living.

Skylar Morgan is a mum as well as an ER nurse and has a lot of responsibilities. But one night she lets loose and goes out to see a local band it places Sky on the radar of the band’s bad boy and she is not sure if at all whether she can handle him. When months go by with no contact at all, Sky is now comfy and back to her normal daily pace, That is until the ER doors open and in walks a man, this bad boy has played an active role in her dreams for months now.

Can Sky move on from dreams to reality? can she learn to open her heart as well as trust again, will Joey learn to open his heart to love?

the minute I started reading this book I knew I was going to devour it in one evening and I did. I sat down and didn’t move at all I was so engrossed in Sky and Joey’s story. I no Joey was a jerk in the beginning but he so makes up for it.

This book offers so much more than just a romance as well as an important message on substance abuse.
One of my favourite parts was when Milo fell hurt his arm I just adored how fierce Joey was when they visited the school I was cheering him on in a big way.

I totally fell in love with Milo what a bright little boy and even with his Autism Milo shines bright, and he became my favourite character throughout the book. I thought it was totally awesome how well the band responded to Milo as well as Milo responding to them it was so sweet and showed how these guys have such tender hearts.

And OMG the sex scenes were smoking hot as well as terribly naughty …………. Loved it

I can’t wait to see which band member is next in line to fall head over heels in love.
